Not quite blocked, but almost there

Well of course I should be in bed sleeping, but I figured I'd post a rather poor

pic of my almost finished Clothilde. I opted for the smaller version, but added three rows of garter followed by a picot bind off.

Gotta go- early morning tomorrow!

God be with you 'til we meet again+

I'm impressed. It's lovely. It would have been months of work for me, but you seemed to just whip it out.

Doesn't it feel good to be able to get it off the needles? I always look forward to spreading it out and finally seeing my work finished. Lovely job.

there is something godlike in our ability to CREATE--creativity is really a blessing.

it doesn't matter that you didn't create the pattern--you took the simplest of materials, and made a thing a beauty. What a joy!
Joanna, it isn't that big. It just stretches a lot after blocking (which for me means a lot of steam:)). You could probably whip this one out in fifteen minutes! Thanks for your kind words:)

Susan, it does! A real reward to the anxiety that it just doesn't look big enough! And I am grateful that the recipient is petite, LOL:)!

2Knitor2Crochet - thank you - that was very kind of you.

OfTroy - what a terrific uplifting thought! I so agree!
